Any videoconference application such as MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Webex, GoToRoom or WebRTC can be used with your existing Avaya Scopia XT4200 / XT4300 / XT5000 / XT7100. Your PC gets powerful audio processing and PTZ room camera from your XT codec. Room monitor connected to your XT codec displays remote participants’ video and your PC content as a local presentation. Speaker plays audio from your PC and remote side.
Acoustic echo cancelation and noise suppression from XT codec provides high quality audio pickup to your PC. Any type of Avaya XT microphone is supported. You can control the PTZ camera and mute microphone using your Avaya XT remote control.
Original H.323/SIP functionality remains unchanged.
How it works
User comes with his PC/laptop to a meeting room. He plugs in just one USB cable to his PC. Screen, speakers, camera and microphone originally used for the XT videoconference become available for his PC/laptop. User makes a videocall using any video application of his wish on his PC displayed on the large room screen.
Software installation
PC connected to the XT2USB downloads and installs USB camera, USB audio and USB monitor drivers from the Internet. Wait approx. 5 minutes for the first time.
